How we run jobs, stated plainly
Like most residential roofers at our volume, we work with subcontracted crews. What we do differently is put our own quality-control inspectors, Brazen employees, on every job, rather than the crew checking its own work.
That is deliberate, and it is the mechanism behind the review numbers. The things that get skipped when nobody independent is checking are precisely the things that cause roofs to fail early: nail placement, reused flashing instead of new, proper starter strip and matched ridge cap, and balanced ventilation. None of them are visible once the roof is finished, which is exactly why they get skipped elsewhere.
